The Roman Aqueduct - Segovia
The beautiful and romantic city of Segovia is located around 75 Kms North West of Spain,s capital Madrid in the province of Castilla y Leon.It was declared a world heritage site ( Patrimonio de la Humidad ) in 1985 and is surrounded by ancient walls, towers and bells.Inhabited by the Celts it was conquered by the Romans in 80 BC and converted into an important military base in the area.
