Golden Temple- "The Abode of God"
Sri Harmandir Sahib, also known as Sri Darbar Sahib commonly known as The Golden Temple, is the Holiest shrine in Sikhism. It is located in the city of Amritsar, Punjab and was established by the fouth Guru of the Sikhs-Guru Ram Das and is known as �Guru Di Nagri� which means �An Abode of God�.The fourth Guru of Sikhism, Guru Ram Das excavated a tank in 1577 AD and was then named as �Amritsar�
