Gangtok Hill Station
Gangtok is the capital of Sikkim and a popular hill station. It lies on a ridge overlooking the Ranipool River. The name Gangtok means the 'High Hill'.Sight SeeingThe Palace of the Chogyal is open only once a year during the last week of December for the Pang Lhabsol Festival. The Tsuklakhang or Royal Chapel is the major place of worship and has a large and impressive collection of scriptures.
